The Cola Connection presents The Monkey's on the Table, drawings by Sarah Jonker.
The Monkey’s On The Table, will be the first of a series of curated performances and exhibitions by Dutch artists at lingerie boutique The Rack Shack.

Sarah Jonker's drawings are poetically theatrical.
Her dark, absurd universe is jam-packed with detached limbs and blatant sexuality. Created in India ink, crayon, and ecoline, her compositions conjure elements of surrealism and postimpressionism. More importantly, they will make you laugh and desire to be a statue.

Jonker is a Dutch visual and performing artist. In 2006, she graduated from the prestigious Academy of Theater in Arnhem, The Netherlands. In conjunction with her acting career, she has produced artwork for shows by Dutch theater companies including De Toneelmakerij and Likeminds.

Over the course of her career, Jonker has achieved recognition as both an actor and a visual artist.  She has had exhibitions in Arnhem, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Alkmaar, and Berlin, and The Cola Connections is delighted to debut her work in New York City.
